Flow Cytometry

Flow cytometry is one of the recent technologies used in a basic research and clinical practice. This technique allows for the study of single cell morphological alterations (e.g. granularity), analysis of functionality (e.g. proteolysis) or to measure the characteristics of cell population, maintaining their viability. With this technique it is possible to analyze 19 parameters at the same time, reducing the velocity of the biological sample.
